How to use: Fusible backing for embroidery

NOTE: NOT A STABILISER

Fusible backing for covering finished embroidery to make it more comfortable to wear (sometimes called skin guard/cover up etc).

This type of backing is used on the back of embroidery that is on clothes for babies and kids to stop it being itchy.

How to use:

1. Once the embroidery is finished cut away all the excess stabiliser from around the design.

2. Cut a piece of the fusible backing that is a bit larger than the design. Put it rough side down (the rough side is the side with the adhesive) over the back of your embroidery.

3. Iron it on with a piece of scrap cotton fabric between the iron the backing (don’t touch the iron directly to the backing).
