Overview

  1. The Code of Conduct states that all guests and members must sign to say the Code of Conduct. All visitors must sign in. It is the responsibility of each member to help enforce the Code of Conduct. All Te Atatu Peninsula community centre rules apply at all times: no smoking, no alcohol, no pets (except guide dogs).
  2. Violations of the Code of Conduct: any member can issue a verbal warning to a person that their behaviour violates the space’s Code of Conduct. Ongoing or significant breaches should be reported to president@taplab.nz as soon as practical.
The report should include:
  • Your name and the name or identifying information of the person
  • The date and time of the behaviour and warning.
  • The behaviour that was in violation
  • The circumstances surrounding the incident
  • ○ Other people involved in or present during the incident
  1. If two members of the executive believe a significant breach has taken place may ban from the premises or online systems anybody who violates the Code of Conduct. Bans may be appealed to the Executive.
